Intrex Aerospace has been producing precision CNC aerospace components for many years. Our experienced engineering, machinist staff, and Epicor ERP/MRP system are designed to meet the complex needs of the aerospace, defense, and space supply chains.
We provide complex-shaped machined parts, a high level of integration, and the system support that these markets require. Our modern 75,000-square-foot facility is equipped with 30 plus CNC machines on an assortment of machine platforms. They include: twin spindle CNC turning/mill lathes, 5-axis mill/turns, and 4-axis vertical and horizontal machine centers. Our equipment lineup of precision CNC equipment is able to produce a wide variety of complex shapes, using many different materials.
Recent Capital Expenditures
Producing precision aerospace parts requires excellent equipment. Intrex is committed to investing in the latest, most accurate and dependable machine tools. In the last three years, we have made significant capital investments in our building, CNC machines, support equipment, and systems software. In addition to our existing CNC equipment, our recent investments in CNC lathe machines include:

We can provide many machining solutions with the varied machine platforms and work envelopes. We currently can produce precise aerospace components, such as flanges, couplings, sleeves, nuts, bushings, and housings. We can make parts from solids, castings, and forgings using many different aerospace materials: e.g. TZM, Inconel, aluminum, cold roll steel, stainless steel, titanium, Monel, and Hastelloy. Most of our machined parts require some special processing like anodizing, heat treating, passivation, mag. particle inspection, and coatings and lubricants. We manage this outsourcing through our powerful Epicor MRP/ERP software. Management, control, and integration of our processes is seamless and efficient.

Integral to our wide range of CNC aerospace machining capabilities, our Program Management team can manage the most demanding aerospace production and scheduling. Our demand-planning experience and success in managing high-mix/low-volume aerospace components, coupled with our ISO 9001 and AS9100 certifications, offer a comprehensive and reliable program solution.
Our Assurance of Quality
Manufacturing precision components for aerospace components requires a high level of quality control. At Intrex Aerospace, we have a quality assurance process that can provide our customers with not only precision parts, but detailed support documentation of our processes used during production. We’ve made several updates and investments in our quality management software package. It is all integrated with our Epicor system. This software allows us to track a range of quality control metrics, such as CPk and SPCs. We can also use it to generate reports that allow our customers to see how we’ve improved quality and reduced waste throughout the production of their precision components.
