Using this proactive method we can monitor our supply chain needs. By having this forward look , we have the ability to adjust our production schedule to match anticipated needs. This feature is one of the reasons we can maintain  on-time delivery of 98+%.

Intrex offers demand management and program management allows us to be more responsive to our customer needs. Providing precision parts in a timely manner helps us with our OTD’s and meets our customers’ needs.

In addition to demand management we have a new product launch system for all new parts.

New Product LaunchProducing new CNC components goes well beyond “just cutting chips”. One of the challenges in our aerospace/defense/space business is being able to efficiently integrate new line items/products into our production schedule without disrupting our existing book of business.

During the past five years, Intrex Aerospace has successfully launched over 1,000 CNC machined parts into our system. Our launch process involves various technologies to ensure we are making a quality part to print every single time.

The ability to efficiently and successfully manage a new product launch is one of our key core strengths. We have developed a new product launch system that links specific task management for all employees involved in the launch process. We monitor and measure in real time. We always know where we are in the process.

In our system, there are multiple steps required to successfully launch a part.

Steps Required in Launch Process

  • Team review of drawing, specs, issues
  • Engineering review for configuration management
  • Quality confirmation of configuration management and specification review
  • Quality confirmation of inspection tool availability
  • Development of program and tooling needed for each operation
  • Development of inspection plan
  • Release to the production floor
  • Evaluate first-run data
