Aerospace Parts Require Special Processing
Many aerospace parts require special processing. Intrex manages the entire production process from sourcing raw material, machining to size specifications, to managing the outsourcing of any special processing requirements. The special processing varies from anodize, dry film lube, passivation, etc.
Our core offering is custom CNC machining, and we’re equipped to create a wide variety of machined components that require vertical or horizontal machine centers, and /or CNC multi axis turning lathes. Additionally, we specialize in thin-walled parts and have the knowledge and equipment in-house to execute advanced, precision components. However, with more than 30 years in the aerospace and defense industry, we understand that innovation sometimes requires access to more than precision CNC machining.
We do in-house some special dry film lube for a specific customer, but tmost of our parts we outource qualified vendors. This outsourcing includes:
- Assembly
- Chemical film treatment
- Dry film lube treatment
- Heat treatment
- Passivation
- More
