Precision manufacturing for aerospace and defense components requires careful quality control. Quality Assurance from Intrex Aerospace provides our customers detailed information on the steps we take to ensure the quality throughout production. We’ve invested in an IQS software package which is integrated with our Epicor ERP/MRP system. This software allows us to track a range of quality control metrics, such as SPCs. We can also use it to generate reports that allow our customers to see how we’ve improved quality and reduced waste throughout the production of their precision components.
Our Epicor system provides many additional capabilities including production forecasting through EDIs, kanban, dock-to-stock, and JIT. This allows us to reduce the lead times required for precision manufacturing for our customers with LTAs. Our quality assurance process and demand management through the Epicor system allow us to maintain a PPM well below the industry standard, with an on-time delivery rate of between 95 to 100%.
In addition to precision aerospace manufacturing, we also provide program management services that increase efficiency, saving you time and money on your parts program. Intrex offers prototyping services with engineering support which we can fold into existing LTAs. This makes the transition to production much more efficient. While your components are in production, we can manage many services including sourcing, special processing such as anodizing or powder coating, assembly, and kitting.
