Our clean, modern 75,000-square-foot facility is equipped with 30-plus CNC machines in an assortment of machine platforms. Our equipment list includes: twin-spindle CNC turning/mill lathes, 5-axis simultaneous mill/turns, and 4-axis vertical machine centers. With our suite of precision CNC machines, we are able to produce a wide variety of complex sizes and shapes in a variety of materials.
Recent Capital Equipment Purchases
Producing tight tolerance aerospace parts requires operator skills and precision equipment. We are committed to ongoing staff training and continued investment in the latest, most accurate machine tools. Recently, we have made significant capital investments in our building, our CNC machines, our support equipment, and systems software. Our recent investments in CNC machines include:

Using our varied machine platforms and work envelope sizes, we can produce a variety of sizes and shapes from .250″ – 8 ” Diameter X 30″ Length (lathes), 20″ X 50″ (Mills). Some part categories include flanges, couplings, sleeves, nuts, bushings, and housings. We produce parts from solids, castings, and forgings, in a variety of aerospace materials: TZM, Inconel, aluminum, cold roll steel, stainless steel, titanium, monel, and hastelloy. Most of our machined parts also require some post machine special processing: anodizing, heat treating, passivation, mag. particle inspection, coatings and lubricants. We manage the entire scheduling, machining, outsourcing, and shipping process using our powerful Epicor – Kinetic MRP/ERP software. Our Epicor manages our planning, scheduling, implementation and control of all our manufacturing process.

Our Program Management team can control the ever-changing demands of aerospace production scheduling. Our demand-planning experience and success in managing high-mix/low-volume aerospace components, coupled with our ISO 9001 and AS9100 certifications, offer a comprehensive and reliable program solution.
Quality Assurance
The level of producing high-quality aerospace components requires a high level of quality control. Intrex Aerospace has the quality system and personnel that can provide our customers with not only precision parts, but also detailed support documentation of our processes from raw material acquisition through processing to documentation and shipping. We’ve made significant investments in our quality management software package. It is integrated with our Epicor system. It allows us to track all critical quality control measurements and provide CP’s and SPCs where required. We can also use it to generate reports that allow our customers to see how we’ve improved quality and reduced waste throughout the production of their precision components.
