Integrated Aerospace Manufacturing Services
Intrex Aerospace provides integrated manufacturing services to our customers in the aviation and defense industries. We’re a precision machine shop with both ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 certifications. We are also ITAR registered for work on defense projects.
Intrex can provide vertical CNC milling for parts up 25” x 40″ and CNC turning for parts up to 10” diameter x 40” length. We have precision machining equipment with 5-axis simultaneous capabilities for producing complex shapes. In addition to our standard aerospace manufacturing services, we can also provide advanced engineering support, manage finishing processes, such as chemical film treatment, powder coating, anodizing and assemble or kit components. By consolidating these services, we can save our customers time and money managing their parts program while ensuring superior quality throughout every step of production.
Intrex utilizes an Epicor Kinetic ERP/MRP system to manage our aerospace manufacturing services. Our flexible Epicor system can provide capabilities that utilize and manage kanban, dock-to-sock and JIT production. This system also allows us to receive orders through an EDI, forecast and plan production for LTAs, which is helpful in reducing lead times for our customers. It also helps us maintain an on-time deliver rate of between 95 and 100 percent. We have invested in a Unipoint quality software package which is integrated with our Epicor software. This allows us to track quality and delivery metrics such as PPM and SPCs.
