With 4-axis vertical and horizontal machining centers and 5-axis turning lathes, Intrex Aerospace has the capabilities to produce the precision parts your aerospace project needs. Our machine shop is certified annually for both ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality control, and we use SPCs to ensure we’re operating well below the industry standard PPM. Our aerospace machine shop has room for expansion of new cells and contains enough horizontal and vertical machining centers to handle high mix and high volume orders.
In addition to having the facilities to produce a wide range of orders for aerospace products, we can provide support to our customers through our program management. We can provide everything from engineering support during prototyping to finishing process during production. We’re even ITAR certified, and can provide materials certification and lot identification for customers working in the defense industry.
To help ensure we deliver parts on time, Intrex utilizes an Epicor ERP/MRP system to tie directly into our customers’ supply chain management and kanban inventory systems. This allows us to accurately forecast our production schedule and reserve time on a vertical CNC machining center or other machine before an order is even placed. This results in drastically reduced the lead time for our aerospace parts manufacturing. We also have more than 5,000 items on LTA’s ready to run in our rapid reaction production cell, which allows us to accommodate time-critical orders, such as AOGs and prototypes.
