At Intrex Aerospace, SPC is one of the many tools we use to ensure our precision machined components meet our customers’ requirements. Our in-process QC planning is done through an SPC software. We maintain a modern quality control room at our facility. This climate-controlled area houses several CMMs that can precisely measure the critical dimensions of each component. We are both AS9100 and ISO 9001 certified.
Our experienced quality control team uses SPC software to accurately track the critical dimension of customers’ components throughout the manufacturing process. Our software also allows us to provide FAI’s, 100 percent inspection, and histograms. This gives us the ability to track our quality control over time and quickly address production challenges. We can also develop CPKs to improve production over time. These improvements minimize waste and ensure efficient production, allowing us to maintain an on-time delivery rate of between 95 and 100 percent.
Intrex Aerospace’s use of SPC and other quality control measures help us maintain a PPM well below the industry average even when precision manufacturing complex aerospace and defense components. Thin-walled and multi-axis machining is one of our core competencies. We’re also able to manufacture parts in a variety of aerospace materials, including titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
