Precision CNC Milling and Turning Services for Aerospace and Defense Companies

Intrex Aerospace offer precision CNC manufacturing services to companies throughout the aerospace and defense sectors. We have a variety of CNC lathes with up to 5-axis capabilities and CNC machining centers with up to 4-axis capabilities. We can produce turned parts with sizes up to 10” x 40” and milled parts with dimensions up to 25”x25”x25”. We can also access equipment for producing larger parts through our affiliation with the Demmer Corporation. We have several specialized production cells including a flange cell with two Mori Seiki Model NZL-2500 high-speed lathes, a rapid reaction cell for time critical orders and a prototyping cell with additional manual high precision machining equipment.

Intrex has strict quality control for all of our CNC services. Our facility is both ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 certified. Our experienced quality control team works in a climate controlled environment using precise CMMs for measurements. We also apply a number of metrics to track our quality control and eliminate wasteful production including SPC, RPK and PPM. As part of our continuing investment in our company, we have purchased an IQS software package for our Epicor ERP/MRP system which provides us with additional quality assurance capabilities.

We are also experienced with parts program management for LTAs. In addition to CNC machining services, we have managed special processes including anodizing, chemical film treatment, powder coating, and many more. We also provide kitting and assembly services to deliver our customer completed precision components. Intrex is experienced at managing production in line with dock to stock, kanban and JIT principles. The efficiency gained through our management of our customers supply chains saves them both time and money on their parts programs.
