 Intrex Aerospace is a CNC machine shop that companies throughout the aerospace industry rely on to deliver tight tolerance parts. We’re both AS9100 and ISO 9001:2000 certified. To ensure we meet aerospace quality control standards, we utilize CMMs in a temperature-controlled, quality control area. We use SPC in our QC process planning. These tools and processes help us maintain a PPM far below the industry standard. We’re also an ITAR registered company experienced in defense manufacturing.
Our modern CNC machine shop houses a variety of machine centers and lathes in several productions cells. We have both horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers with 4-axis capabilities and 5-axis CNC turning lathes. We’re also investing in our facility and have recently added two additional Mori Seiki NZL-2500 lathes in a new cell. Our machining centers can produce parts up to 25” x 50” and our lathes can produce parts up to 10” x 40”. As a Demmer affiliate, our company also has access to larger machines. We can also manage finishing services including anodizing, dry film lubrication, coating, kitting and assembly, which can save our customers both time and money for their parts programs.
We can produce a wide variety of complex aerospace components. Thin-walled machining is one of our core competencies. We produce parts in exotic metals including inconel, titanium and hastelloy, in addition to common aerospace materials.
