Our financial strength has allowed us to invest in our modern facility with a variety of new precision CNC pieces of equipment. We have horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers capable of producing parts up to 24”x24”x24” and turning lathes capable of producing parts up to 10”x40”. Our 5-axis turning capabilities, can manufacture a wide variety of aerospace products. We’ve recently added (2) Mori Seiki Model NZL-2500 high-speed lathes to create a new production cell. This improves our ability to quickly produce low-volume, high-mix orders for flanged parts.
The Intrex/Demmer philosophy of training, has allowed us to invest heavily in our staff’s training, which ensures reduction in waste and increased efficiency while producing aerospace products. Our staff has undergone Lean training and Six Sigma Yellow Belt training sponsored by the Colorado Association for Manufacturing and Technology. We also have an internally audited operator training program.
Through our vertical integration with Demmer, we can manage parts programs for a wider variety of precision components. In addition to the engineering support, manufacturing and finishing processes that we provide in-house, we can effectively coordinate additional services between other affiliates. This provides our customers a single point of contact for their aerospace products, simplifying their supply chain.
